Playground Fun

Quick camping trip up to Wakonda State Park by Quincy, IL gave us an entire day of fun.

All we have to do now is go back in the fall!

4 Years

We miss you dad. You know we all think of you everyday. You would just love David to pieces. He's starting to do just the most awesome things. Just loves playing with all sorts of trucks and tractors. I often think of how happy you would be holding him.

House count is 2 less than it was. Jessica and I hope to build a new home to keep our growing family safe.

We get together as often as possible. We go camping in the camper we talked about getting together every spring. We'll be able to christen it as "Dads Dream" soon.

When you get a chance, please help me when I'm looking for stuff. I know you touched it last.

I know you're up there watching over us. It makes it a little easier to know that.

7336 Naples Drive

In early May of 2003, Tim bought his first house. 7336 Naples Drive was a small, 950 sq foot, 3 bed-room, 3 bath, kinda-finished basement and with a covered patio that was just perfect for someone to move out of the nest into.

Over the next 10 years, that house became a home. Sometimes we had a lot of family in the house and sometimes we had just 2. The best was for the last 1.5 years where it was just this branch of the Frazee Family living in their home in Hazelwood.

In spring of 2012 we got some momentum going and started getting ready to put the house on the market. For a couple of reasons:
  • Wanted more space (didnt need it, just wanted it)
  • Our family is small and nimble right now, now is the time if ever to move
  • Most importantly, need to split the difference between grand-parents
By early November 2012, we were ready for the house to be listed. A couple of the new items we felt brought value to the house that we had spent the Summer and Fall working on:
  • new paint in almost all of the house
  • brand new roof (thanks to the hail storm in spring of '12)
  • new carpet throughout the house
  • new kitchen floor and counter-tops
  • new garage door
By early January 2013 we had many showings from interested buyers. But all you need is one person to like all the right things. We had that buyer  in early February and we closed on the 28th.

It was amazing how fast everything went. Sometimes we can't believe that its actually done. And every once in a while we think about our first home and miss it. It was a great home, tuned to exactly what we needed. We still feel like we made the right choice.
