Family Farm Day '14

Every early to mid October, Jessica's family have a "little" get together at her Uncle's farm. It's a great way to get together and catch up with friends and family, have a great meal together and sit around the bon fire.

Always a great setting for family and candid photos. DR never disappoints when we get to "GC" and he always has a great time with his cousins.

Claire can't seem to find the camera somehow.

Him and Alexis seem almost inseparable.

Snow, Sleds and Dogs

Last day of 2012 we got a couple of inches of sloppy snow. Not bad for David's first real snow.

Lucy was making sure everything was going to be ok. She's not used to sharing the snow.

 But she kept herself occupied

We have some fun going fast!

 And some fun going slow

But we stayed warm the whole time.

Christmas 2012

Christmas for 2012 was our busiest one yet and while it was great to see everyone, it was also great to stay at home and play with all the new toys Santa and everyone brought. David got plenty of new "big boy" toys that should last a long time. The lawnmower and push around car are the few toys that we really had to pull David away from.

Everyone had a great Christmas and we are already looking forward to new year. David will be just shy of 2 and a half years old and we'll be all ready for Santa!

Schneider and Sons Custom Homes

When I married Jessica, I had a clue of how awesome of a family I was becoming a part of. In the past almost 4 years, they have blown my mind. They are a group of never say no people and can always lend out a hand. I believe that works out well as that is how my father raised our family to be also.

One weekend in September, Steve Sr. (my father-in-law) along with his sons, Steve Jr. and Joe along with some family friends came over and helped me put a new roof on my house. (when I say "helped me" I really mean, I helped them help me) The weekend before then, Steve Sr. came over to help me install new trim throughout the house.

I'm honored to be part of such a great family.

Grandpa and Great Grandpa Frazee

While over at Grandma Bille's place, I caught this gem. 4 of my favorite people in one shot.

David at 1 year

David Robert turned 1 year old on July 8th, 2012. The day before a whole lot of friends and family braved the heat and humidity to celebrate. The party was at "Maw Maw and Paw Paw's" house and everything was perfect. Everyone who came to "Camp David" was treated to BBQ, homemade chips and camping-themed snacks. The pool held more people that day than it might have ever had.

Thank you to all who helped make the day very special for us and David.

David is always watching you....

 Tons of fun is right!

By the end of the presents, he was getting good at opening them up on his own

2nd Annual Orange Pocket Knife Campout

In 2011 the family decided that every April we will go camping as a family in "Dad's Dream". For the first year we went to Meramec State Park. For 2012 we went to Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park and had a blast. We spent Saturday morning at nearby Elephant Rocks State Park. There's a decent 1 mile loop around the cluster of granite boulders that make it a fun trip with a little bit of exercise too. If you need to burn a day, Elephant Rocks is a great place to go.

David rode all the way to the top in the 3 wheeler. Woobie and all.

8+ months

We've been pretty busy the last couple of days. I (Tim) have one of our (ADP) largest client's to upgrade from one version to another version of the product that I deal with most of the time at work. This leads to working with all sorts of technology, processes, politics and personalities. Client wanted the upgrade by Thanksgiving of 2011 and we'll finally be done by the first week of April. Along with that, I've taken a different role with work that will likely mean more travel and more Sales Engineering than what I do now. Well, I kinda do that now, just going forward, it'll be more official.

Jessica has been doing well. Staying pretty busy with David and helping to plan a soon-to-be sister-in-law's wedding. I've made her a publisher for the blog, so hopefully she'll start posting updates of what we are doing.

Together we are getting ready for a busy spring and summer. Going to try to take the camper out for a dry-run for our now annual Orange Pocket Knife campout. We want to get the kinks out of our process in a controlled environment. Probably sounds over the top, but now that David is more mobile than he had been in the past, we need to get our game together.

I have a couple of modifications I want to make to the camper that will make it nicer to live in for a weekend or more. Simple stuff. Built-in LED nights near the floor to provide some low level light. Installing some usb ports in front and back to charge cell phones near you as you sleep instead of towards the middle of the camper. Some backup lights so you can pull in at night without the need for  flash lights all over the place. (Dad would call these "docking lights") Also have plans for a set of yellow lights under the camper that lights up the ground on the door side of the camper. We've been doing with with a rope light the past couple of times which works well. It would be slick to just flip a switch and they turn on while being built in. Plus I need to finish up my new radio/CB install that I started in the fall. I took out the crappy radio that comes with the camper and put in a nice head unit, plus the CB Radio that came out of Dad's truck.

David has started crawling. Holy crap is he all over the place. He has learned how to climb up furniture to start standing. He's not self standing yet, but he's getting close.

Here's what you've been waiting for. Some pictures of the kid. Thanks for reading through my diatribe of the last couple of months and what we have in the future.

(psssst.... Jessica turns 30 soon!!!)

DR's crawl position. Probably day 4 of not-staying-where-you-put-him.
4 second exposure of him sleeping. It was pretty dark in his bed room and I had to use the tripod to get this shot.

Might have a future in football with this stance.

Kid and Dad watching the rain come down. Lucy wasn't dig'n the rain as much as we were.

David gets a taste of Cisco PIX documentation.

Mom and Son. Can't get any better than that.

David at 26 weeks.

That's right. Most can probably figure by now that Jessica, Lucy and I are at 6 months with the newest and loudest member of our family. We love every moment.

If you've been able to meet David, you'll have to agree that he's pretty awesome. He has this smile that is truly infectious. He can go from full tilt freaking out to a grin thats ear to ear in less than a second. Its amazing. His best friend, Lucy, follows her newest baby all over the house. Recently when he is sitting on the floor and Lucy licks the top of his head he starts to giggle.

Jessica has been beyond awesome. She totally put her 8 to 5 job on hold to pick up a job that pays only in smiles and laughs. Pays in 3am bottles, stinky diapers, spit and diaper bonuses everywhere. The most important thing it pays in, I believe, would be memories and a bond like no other. She's an unbelievable mom. She is 100% focused on David 100% of the time.

I've been more busy than I feel I should be honestly. I'm working on getting a better balance of family/work/hobby.

David had an awesome Christmas. Plenty of toys and clothes. In between Christmas and New Years, we went down to "Aunt Stacey's" and "Grandma Barb's" house at Bull Shoals Lake for a couple of days. We had a great time and got to relax.

I hope everyone had a great Holiday and New Year. We look forward to a couple of trips with Dad's Dream and David this upcoming year. No destination yet, just a journey
